Roseville High School Senior and friend since he was like as tall as my hip, Dylan Runner. There will definitely be an out take section in the full reveal!!! He was hilarious! We had a ton of fun and I can’t wait to post all of our pictures! Thanks you guys!!!

The amazing miss Julie Screeton has been the best senior rep ever! This being my first year as a professional photographer I needed quite a bit of practice and she was always so willing to come out with me and lay in the dirt, climb fences, walk in the mud, and look stinkin’ PHENOMENAL doing it!!! I am sad that this will be our last shoot until the next big event in her life! I can’t wait to see what this girl is going to do! Julie, a huge congrats on graduating in a handful of weeks! Thank you again and again for hanging out with me this past year!!!

Finally getting the rest of these pictures up on the blog! Seth and Carlee were just the best and I absolutely loved taking these pictures for them!!! Thanks again you two!!!

Remember my Senior Rep for 2012, Julie Screeton? Well I couldn’t resist taking her out for another shoot this past weekend. She is so much fun and my camera just LOVES her as you can see! :) Here are a few of many awesome shots we got! Thanks Julie!!! Up next Seth and Carlee’s engagement part 2.

This shoot was just a blast! Seth was the last Miller kiddo turned grown up that I had yet to photograph. He has found love in such a beautiful, genuinely sweet girl named Carlee. We laughed our whole way through the day and I have so much more to share. But for now, I know they are dying to see! :) Enjoy you two!

Real Life

February 21, 2012

I have been obsessed with photo walls lately. I have been trying to help clients plan theirs and I have been trying to plan some for my home as well. I love the idea of photographs being displayed as art in the home. With tons of blank white walls in my new house, my wheels have been turning. While I LOVE family portraits being displayed and I shall soon have some of my very own, I also love the idea of real life moments being captured. I have been inspired by some “real life” sessions on other photographer’s blogs, and have decided to start capturing those moments for my family and am planning a real life wall for our home. I already snap pictures of the kiddos all the time, but I have to say that this little project has me grabbing my camera much more often and trying to be as under cover as I can to try and capture our family as authentically as possible! It is just all going so fast and I don’t ever want to forget these years. Here is what I have so far, drool and all! :) For those of you who know us personally, I do realize I am missing a certain teenager in this post. Next time!

So Big

February 17, 2012

I can’t believe it has been a year since this little muffin was born. He has our whole family wrapped around his little fingers. We couldn’t be more in love with him! I forgot how wonderful it is to have a tiny little man to love on!

Gearing up!

February 2, 2012

I know it has been a while since I posted. We bought a house and moved over Christmas, so my camera has been somewhat shelved accept for our family, around the house type of photos. I have a lot in store for the next couple of months. I am really excited to get back in the swing of things. My wheels are turning as far as locations and inspirations for shoots. The weather has been incredible and it is killing me to not be out there snapping away! Can’t wait for the shoots I have coming up! Boxes still loom in the garage and my walls are still bare but all in due time. :)

Please visit the investment page as I have made some changes for 2012-2013.

All Jill wanted for her 30th birthday was family portraits and her sweet hubby Adam (also long time family friends of ours) called me to plan their session. Jill wanted to incorporate her Mom, Niece, Grandma and Grandpa, and it was so great to capture all the generations!! As you can see they are all so adorable and we had beautiful weather to boot! I really can’t tell you how much I loved taking these pictures and getting to spend the afternoon with all of them! Thanks so much you guys!! PS Today is Jill’s actual birthday!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY JILL!
